Platinum Voice PR is seeking a public relations intern that is Social Media Savvy. Internship will require various responsibilities including researching upcoming events, potential clients and helping to promote current clients.

This individual must be a self-directed team player, who takes an initiative in all entertainment areas by addressing anticipated needs of the client. This individual must have the know-how to go after the prize, must consistently offer quality products [based on need] and adapts to different situations rapidly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Research upcoming events in the entertainment industry.
• Work with clients to help promote them via Twitter, Facebook, Google plus and other platforms.
• Write documents, including press release that are related to current projects.
• Identify and propose improvements to the Company and its processes to improve organizational efficiency.
• Maintains integrity of highly confidential information and files.
• Assist on assigned projects as directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to include assisting other interns as needed.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will:

• Be a current college student or recent graduate
• Have a passion for public relations
• Excellent organizational and planning skills as well as strong relationship skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions as appropriate, in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
• Strong proofreading and attention to detail skills.
• Willingness to accept high level of responsibility for own actions.
• Strong word processing skills including ability to use advanced formatting with Microsoft Word and Google Drive.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
* Time Management skills
* Event Planning is a plus
* Must own a Laptop, Desktop and a smartphone
