Flightpath is looking for a skilled design intern to help the interactive design team. The company is expanding and the team is looking for a top-notch individual with stellar design skills and a creative mind to assist in a vast array of design projects from websites to mobile applications. This is a unique opportunity to gain lots of diverse experience, and to collaborate with several different departments to demonstrate your design chops.

The design intern will report to the senior designers and will work closely with the entire design team. This position starts ASAP.

Youll Get Experience...

- Developing pixel-perfect Photoshop comps
- Assisting in refining and enhancing the graphic language
- Designing beautiful & functional user interfaces for various platforms
- Storyboarding/prototyping UX experiences
- Creating wireframes and functional prototypes
- Supporting and working alongside the design team
- Supporting production of interactive design initiatives

Our team members are seasoned digital marketers who discover and mine emotional currency to create real business value for clients that include BMW, Merck, Goya Foods, Cablevision, and Time Warner.

This is a paid internship and will be approximately 16-20 hours per week. College credit may be awarded where applicable.

Qualifications:

You Have…

- Full ability to dominate any task in Adobe CS
- A design degree (or are currently working towards one)
- Strong and clean design aesthetic
- Attention to detail and are a motivated self-starter
- Ability to think conceptually but also can reliably execute
- Strong eye for typography, color, and layout
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Dynamic online portfolio
- Ability to solve problems with little or no guidance
- Basic HTML and CSS skillz

Brownie Points if You Have…

- Jquery and Javascript knowledge
- Experience working on iOS and/or Android applications
