Are you a talented 3D animator with proficient knowledge of Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects? Risk and Strategic Management Corp. wants you! RSM is looking for talented CG artists to join our rapidly expanding creative department for opening internship positions. RSM specializes in creating 3d animated safety, security and awareness training videos on topics ranging from: Kidnapping and Ransom, Cyber Security, Natural Disasters, and much more!

Our team produces training materials for fortune 500 companies including Shell, IBM, Oxfam, and other well known companies, as well as the iNGO and government sectors. We have an active internship program where we help mentor students in developing real world experience within the animation field on active projects. We offer a year round program for qualified college students or recent grads looking to either work under our guidance and mentoring in studio, or from home with the use of Dropbox, and email.

In our experience, hiring students fresh out of school after completing our internship program has proven to be more valuable than simply hiring veteran animators. This internship program would initially be unpaid, but has high potential for fulltime hire based off satisfactory completion of the program.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements:
Working knowledge of Maya to animate pre-rigged characters in pre-setup scenes.

Preferred but no required skills:
Knowledge of After Effects with element 3d plugin. Scene setup and optimization in Maya. Rendering setup for both Mental Ray and Software.

Bonus skills:
Any technical problem solving skills related to Maya and the entire adobe creative suite. Lighting, texturing, modeling, rigging experience.
