Print/Web Design Intern

Description:
Established multimedia company in midtown Manhattan is seeking a creative design intern to have in-depth work experience with marketing team in producing promotional media content for diverse portfolio of products, services and clientele.Duration: 8 Weeks minimum- Must be available to come to office minimum 24 hours per week (consecutive business days are preferred)
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of HTML and Dreamweaver. Will need to create HTML E-Mail promotions and marketing collateral
- Strong proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat
- Proficiency on Mac/PC operating systems
- A good eye for aesthetics and working knowledge of key design concepts such as resolution, color, and typography and how they relate and differ across printed material and web design
- Ability to work independently and take direction/critique
- Strong organization skills and ability to deal with changing priorities under high volume of projects
- Knowledge of basic Adobe Flash and CSS is a plus
Hours:
3 consecutive days a week
