An internship with Coldwell Banker gives you an insight in the real estate market in Costa Rica, which differs in many aspects from the European market or the market in the United States. You will get to know the work of a real estate agent in this area and you can develop your skills in marketing, sales and communications. A period of at least 8 weeks of internship is recommended to get the most out of your time working with us.

Responsibilities

General administrative support like handling incoming phone calls, keeping in touch with clients and responding to follow up inquiries by email or phone. Duties in the office also include writing descriptions and uploading new listings on our database or performing tasks in the marketing field like updating our advertisements in social media. Furthermore you will accompany our staff to take listings outside the office, which will give you a general survey of the real estate market in the area and also train you to work with the client on-site.

Qualifications:

Educational background in Sales, Marketing, Advertising or Communications would be ideal, but other backgrounds would be acceptable as well. The most important characteristics we need you to have, are being self-driven, a forward planner with an eye for details, being outgoing and communicative. Whether in person or on the phone, establishing contact with our clients and building a good connection with them is the base of our work as real estate agents, therefore you should have good communication and sales skills as well.
