Eight 1 Eight, is a lifestyle clothing brand and retail store. The retail store Eight 1 Eight located in Van Nuys, Ca officially opens Late June 2013. Exclusive Eight 1 Eight branded preview items are currently available on Eight1Eight.com. The boutique retail store will focus primarily on the streetwear culture carrying items from the hottest urbanwear brands known for their international appeal. Eight 1 Eight will not just be known for its apparel but will also carry the latest in footwear.

By connecting with the public via social media & special events (such as in-store celebrity signings, Pop-Up performances, free giveaways, nightclub parties & other interactive engagements) Eight 1 Eight intends to be the premiere source for all trendy styles for San Fernando Valley shoppers and surrounding areas.

Our internship program is intended to provide applicants with various backgrounds multiple avenues toward success ranging from creative design or project management.

Requirements:
Must have active social media accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram & Tumblr/Blogger recommended but not required)
Must virally promote new discounts or web promotions
Post various pics in Eight 1 Eight items or items sold by Eight 1 Eight

4 Month Minimum Commitment.
Currently Enrolled for college credit or B.A. degree required (we will verify)
Video Meeting Capabilities (Google Hangouts)
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Experience with web-based tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
Multiple Daily Posts to personal Social Network Accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram)
Identify business needs and how they can benefit from social media, mobile messaging and a customer rewards program
Consult with decision makers about growing and developing their loyalty programs and social media presences (Facebook/Twitter)
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with various types of businesses
Work closely with sales management to achieve weekly/monthly goals
Facilitate communication between members of the project team
Set-up meetings to discuss projects, take notes during the meetings and follow-up on the discussed action items.
Monitor milestones and delivery dates
E-Mail Suggestions for EIGHT 1 EIGHT blog approval, (Pics, Video, items that fit branding)
Post Website in social media bios
Follow branding guidelines set by Eight 1 Eight
Attend Eight 1 Eight sponsored events when applicable
Assist Eight 1 Eight photo shoots
Assist Video Shoots
Help create, plan & execute Eight 1 Eight special event ideas.
Virtual Brainstorming Sessions via webcam & e-mail.
Must have laptop and video chat capabilities
