CPPR has facilitated interns from India and abroad. From month-long internships to 1-year period, the opportunities are aplenty.

Qualifications:

Graduates or students pursing graduation.
Interest in public policy research

Internships are open for three centers Centre for Comparative studies, Centre for Urban studies and Centre for Strategic studies.

Tasks for Interns in Comparative studies

Do a routine collection and compilation of issues based on three strategic centre: Issues should include political, economic or social development across states and for India in general; policies/issues based on urban infrastructure, transport, governance, or other features; issues identified as strategically important for the state/country.

Procedure: Collect and compile issues on all these aspects. One person can focus on one issue or if possible work on all issues simultaneously. Produce weekly reports based on the data collected on selected issues. Produce monthly reports.

Tasks for Interns in Strategic studies


- Undertake Research and report writing on identified themes of Energy Security, Human Security, Disaster Management and Food Security or any other topics under Non-Traditional Security
- Assist the activities of CPPR Focus Study Centre, The Centre for Strategic Studies( CSS)
- Co-ordinate the activities and assist the organisors for the proposed International Conference on “Non-Traditional Security” hosted by the Centre
- Develop data base on identified themes of the Centre
- Network and connect with organisation & resource persons working in similar areas
