Canvassing is a great way make a personal impact on the issues that you care about while also building skills and making connections. Many leaders in politics and in the nonprofit arena got their start this way, and we always have opportunities for advancement.

We are a very busy staff and rely on our interns for everyday tasks and advanced, long-term projects. As an intern, you will have the chance to meet local candidates from across the state and become familiar with the basics of campaigns. Responsibilities will involve contact our Broward Volunteer base, assisting organizer in campaign phone banks, attend campaign meetings and rally events in Broward County.


Internship overview-
For young individuals interested in pursuing a career in politics, communications, non-profit, womens studies: an internship at any level of government, or volunteer work on a political campaign, can be an interesting and informative experience and resumé booster.

Interns must be:
College students or recently graduated
A passion for the issues

A stipend will be provided for your work.
College Credit may be assigned through contact with school department.
