My client is a small specialist publisher of business magazines and online products for many of the world’s largest business events.A superb opportunity has come available for a IT/web support assistant to join their team, working closely with the IT Manager to drive and lead the company’s IT capabilities.
This role encompasses developing, managing and expanding the IT department and offering support to MD and team managers
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:-
• Maintenance/Inventory of office hardware/software, telecoms and networking equipment.
• Setting up of workstations for new employees. (Training will be given)
• Network management of a MAC/PC environment with an in-house windows and cloud server.
• Assistance in managing a portfolio of wordpress websites, domain renewals and subscriptions.
The ideal candidate will:-
• Have an understanding and experience of basic network management protocols, FTP.
• Have an understanding of basic CMS management especially wordpress.
