Description:

Seattle Repertory Theatre designed the Development Internship to provide an immersion into the full array of development activities. The intern will work as a vital member of the team and gain a working knowledge of major giving, annual giving, board engagement, corporate and foundation giving, and special events. Ongoing opportunities include cultivation and stewardship of donors, prospect research, donor correspondence and grant writing, and special events management. This intern will have a high-level of interaction with trustees, donors, and staff leadership. The supervisor for this internship position is Major Gifts Associate Heidi Pardo, who says to future Development Interns: “Meeting donors and building relationships is what it’s all about.”

Qualifications:

We seek candidates who have a passion for theatre and a drive to pursue a career in nonprofit arts.

Paid Internship Info:

$200/per week

Hours:

32 hours per week

Length/Availability:

9 months
