Staff: The Chamber staff of 13 full-time employees guides public policy, membership services, programs, events, marketing, communication and much more on behalf of our members. We currently have an opening for a program and events intern.

Work environment:

• Develop connections to business and community leaders
• Gain valuable business and project experience

Program and Events Internship:
o Assist in execution of more than 40 Chamber programs and events, including educational seminars, networking events, webinars and public policy programs
o Coordinate large Chamber events:
- Business Expo (2,000+ attendees)
- Annual Dinner (900+ attendees)
Event Logistics:
o Attend program and events meetings
o Attend event site visits with the program and events manager
o Post events and programs on chamber website
o Post Chamber events on other community calendars
o Create name tags, signage and other event promotional materials
o Create events photo gallery on the chamber website
Research:
o Research effective ways to market the various Chamber program and events
o Research other programs and events in different communities

Hours: Interested individuals must be willing to work at least 8-12 hours per week, although specific times of day are flexible. This internship is unpaid.
