I need an intern that will help me with the external communication of the company. we are a new company on the market but we are very active in new media (PR, blogs and on social media) and right now we need a kick-ass intern to help me.

Responisibilities
Duties?
1. Social Media/Blogging:
- Research mavens to monitor and engage with.
- Research bloggers to guest write and vice versa.
- Research blog post ideas and write our blog. we rely on our blog to educate and entertain on subjects that pertain to our sector.

2. Media Relations:
- Some data entry (e.g. update the database) but not much really.
- Research pitching opportunities with publications.
- Help with the pitching.
- Follow-up.

Qualifications:

Are you up for it?
- Junior or Senior Journalism, Marketing, PR major... or any other related major. As long as you are a good writer you are ok.
- Solid social media and blogging experience is a must.
- Knowledge of SEO would be a big plus.
- Creativity is also a must have.
- Socially conscious and knowledgable. We retail fair trade, organic, eco-friendly and made in the US products.
- 10 to 15 hours a week.
