About the Internship:
Next Big Sound is currently looking for interns in our New York City office located in the Flatiron district. This internship will provide you with an opportunity to learn about a frontier within the music industry and a chance to work with several members of the Next Big Sound team from co-founders to data scientists to former music executives.You will be working with data, a lot of data. Your projects can range from cleansing data to improve data confidence, to data analysis and blog post contributions. But the best part of a nimble technology company are, the array of unscheduled projects and experiences!
Internship Philosophy:
We believe in bridging your existing academic knowledge with on-the-job experiences to best prepare you for the world and hope to tailor your internship experience to your academic passions. If we decide to offer you an internship with Next Big Sound, we will ask you to provide us with your favorite list of courses. Ultimately we believe in nurturing a culture where we share knowledge, life experiences, and have fun.

You’re passionate about technology and music. You’re thoughtful of others and observant. You’re also ambitious, a self-starter, and able to identify the over arching “big picture” in each assigned project. You’re curious and not afraid to ask questions. You have opinions, but are also open-minded. You might secretly love math ;-) or perhaps you are an entrepreneur or a future star in the making!
