Description:

IBS Global Consulting is seeking committed, organized, and dedicated interns who are passionate about writing to work on our in-house publication, The Global Business Advisor Magazine. This position involves writing, fact checking, and general editorial assistance. Candidates should have an interest in international business and must demonstrate strong writing skills.

As an Editorial Intern, you will develop compelling content for B2B audiences, edit and proof written copy for the publication, write online news reports and magazine stories, manage blog and create web content, manage and update presence on social media outlets, fact checking articles through phone calls, email, and the Internet, covering local events and submitting reports for posting on our blogs, upload multimedia projects such as videos and image galleries, and assist with web-related administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university
• Journalism, communications, media and related majors preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proofreading, grammar, and copy writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional time management and planning skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
