The Fashion showroom A SUPREME AGENT is looking for a few motivated and
fun-loving interns. ASA is a footwear and accessory-based sales showroom --
also known as a multi-line showroom -- located in New York City. We represent
Gola, J. Shoes and Koolaburra.This internship will be beneficial for anyone looking to get into Fashion, Sales, or PR.
Mandatory skills:
* An eye for merchandising and styling
* Very organizedDuties:
* Visit stores to check on product and research new accounts
* Prepare for trade shows
* Attend Tradeshows, Coterie (http://enkshows.com/coterie), Project
(www.projectshow.com), Compass (www.compassshow.com)
* Deliver samples to and from press publications & photo shoots
* Help with setting up displays and revamping showroom every season
* Pack samples for road trips
* Mail out new product info to existing and prospective customers
* Other tasks as assignedCandidate must be an excellent communicator, extremely organized, detail-
oriented, not afraid to sweat, and have strong customer service skills. Showroom/retail experience a plus.Internship is for a varied amount of time at least 3 days per week from September to December in New York City + stipend.
Your major does not have to be Fashion, but should be relevant to the
aforementioned duties (i.e. Integrative Arts, Marketing/PR, Communications,
General Business, Graphic Design, etc).

Today, the agency encourages labels to continue thriving in dedicated underground demographics, simultaneously ushering these brands from afterthoughts to driving forces in prevailing fashion circles. ASA currently handles sales for Bensimon, Nooka, Gola, and Cassius. All four have been successfully introduced to multiple markets through creative and challenging target customer strategies. More than just a sales agency, ASA intends to reach out to each customer with respect and graciousness, no matter how big or small.
Much of the success of ASA relies on the philosophy that its brands serve lives that are multiple and fluid, from the avant-garde to the predominant, the old and the new, the underdressed and the embellished. ASA proceeds with diverse outreach and seeks to continue building on its roster with brands that have integrity and charisma.
