Africa Change International works to educate deprived and underprivileged children to be skilful and knowledgeable, as well as peaceful and law-abiding. The organization encourages school drop-outs and street children to acquire employable skills while also empowering these marginalized young people to possess self-confidence.

The organization has several on-going opportunities for volunteers to assist in. The “I-Top” information technology initiative involved training children in schools with little or no computer access with basic computer skills. For a nominal fee, students are provided with computer access and trained by professionally-trained IT tutors, and the school is assisted in establishing and managing their own information technology facility.

Two other projects ACI is currently pursuing are its’ education and health programs. The education program sends volunteers to assist the staff at various schools in teaching information technology, science, and mathematics. This program also consists of offering vacation classes in the hopes of keeping children off the streets during summer holidays. ACI’s health initiative supports staff of community hospitals, developing and promoting a health awareness campaign. ACI also arranges organized sporting events such as basketball, hockey and swimming competitions for under-privileged children to participate in.
