Greetings,
A Vancouver based production company is seeking part time interns for 2013. We produce documentaries, art films and narratives.
This is an office assistant position for the most part with flexible hours, very ideal for recent film school graduates looking to learn more about the independent film scene. Unfortunately we cannot offer monetary compensation at this time.
Duties include:
- Tracking down release forms from talent
- Scheduling meetings
- Creating simple budget and expense reports
- Reading new prospective scripts, writing reviews and reports
Unique opportunities arise when we schedule shooting days for some of our documentaries:
- assist with sound
- assist with lighting / lamp op
- Set decorating / preparing interview spaces
- assisting camera
