The Album Room is looking for an intern to join our team to assist in a variety of tasks. We are looking for an intern that is eager to learn more about the wedding industry, along with skills in marketing, design, print production and how to manage a studio in New York City. We often attend networking events within the wedding industry and would extend the invitation to you.

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:?
- Social Media and blogging
?- Photography retouching and color correcting?
- Album and template design, along with album assembly
?- Update and maintain client database?
- Assisting with shipments and email clients
?- Updating companys information on website
?- Daily office Maintenance

Skills:
?- Energetic personality with a positive attitude
?- Eager to learn and develop skills?
- Great listener and multi-tasker?
- Strong written communication skills for blogging and social media
?- Very organized, punctual, and attentive?
- Basic photography skills (not required, but helpful)?
- Photoshop knowledge is a MUST!?
- We only use Mac, so you MUST know how to operate the Macintosh operating system

Basic knowledge in the following software is preferred:
?- Adobe Suites CS5/CS6 (primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)?
- Lightroom?
- Wordpress
?- iWork - i.e. Pages, Numbers, etc... or Microsoft Office

Hours:

2-3 days per week between 11am & 6pm M-F

Students seeking school credit preferred.

Our preferred internship length is around 3 months. Internship length is absolutely negotiable. We would like to have you 2-3 days a week. Your hours would be in-between the working week of 11:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Monday - Friday.

The internship is unpaid. However, we will pay for your lunch everyday. Our studio is located on Union Square.

We would like the internship to start during early September, however we can be flexible. Please respond with your cover letter and resume attached. We will then contact you for an interview.
