Fashion Showroom Seeking highly motivated fashion interns for NYC Garment District Showroom, that represents well chosen womens contemporary and ready to wear International brands and accessories. Basic computer skills and attention to time and detail a must. FASHION Marketing / PR / Communications Interns needed to fill 3 internship positions (Marketing / PR / Communications). Our ideal candidates will be an energetic, friendly, outgoing, self-starter with a drive to learn the Fashion business practices and participate hands-on with company tasks. We are looking for someone that wants to learn Fashion, discover new business practices and execute marketing / pr / communications in a real-world Fashion business atmosphere. This internship is NOT for designers. Interns will not be designing. This position is for MARKETING / PR / Communications in the Fashion industry.You WILL be involved in our daily activities, asked for your opinions, help with company practices and more. You will work hands on with the owner as well as marketing and PR in the Showroom and out at Fashion Trade/Runway Shows. You will also participate in contacting retail locations about our Fashion brands and taking new orders / following up on orders. Our interns will learn about our brands, how products go from fabric to finished products, and all the steps of the Real Fashion Business. Fashion is Life!
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidates will be an energetic, friendly, outgoing, loyal, self-starter with a drive to learn the Fashion business practices and participate hands-on with company tasks. Basic Computer Skills, Excel, Word and attention to time and detail a Must.
