Company Introduction:
This International Five Star Hotel is located in West High-tech Zone in Chengdu, and is the first five-star international brand hotel in that area. It’s convenient location close to Shuangliu International Airport and metro line 2, giving guest an easy access to the city and beyond. The hotel has 350 guest rooms, including 35 suites and executive floor. It also features a 2500m² conference and banquet space, including 8 meeting rooms and a ball room with over 520 seats. Their restaurants feature Chinese, Cantonese and other selections of Asian cuisine. Additionally they have a wellness area with spa, fitness center and indoor/outdoor swimming pool for their guests to relax after meetings and travelling.

This Five Star Hotel is scheduled to open in October 2013.

Internship Description:

1. Internship in the Food & Beverage Department
- provide customer services at bars or restaurants
- provide customers with friendly and professional services to make sure that they are satisfied
- maintain a high standard of service and quality delivery at all times

2. Internship at the Front Desk / Guest Relations Officer
- Service manager at front desk - Be responsible for greeting customers and providing services to them when arriving at and leaving the hotel
- Guest relations officer - Communicate with the customers and get feedback to enhance the services and build the customers fidelity
- maintain a high standard of service and quality delivery at all times

Qualifications:

1. Food & Beverage Internship
- major in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Tourism
- related work experience is a big plus
- Fluent in English
- any other European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish etc.) is a plus
- basic knowledge of Chinese language is a plus
- Able to adapt to a Western-Chinese team

2. Front Desk Internship
- major in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Tourism
- related work experience is a big plus
- Fluent in English
- any other European language (e.g. German, French, Spanish etc.) is a plus
- basic knowledge of Chinese language is a plus
- Able to adapt to a Western-Chinese team
