Description:

Interns will sit in on daily brainstorming meetings and work directly with experienced editors in developing these online magazines. Interns will be asked to pitch, write, and edit stories as well as assist with research, proofing stories from other contributors, and updating the sites.

Editors will help interns learn the ropes for hunting down original stories, use keywords to generate content, create marketing copy, distribute content through social media outlets, and develop portfolio-worthy writing samples for both magazines and websites.

Qualifications:

The most qualified applicants are students with a career focus in communications, journalism, marketing, lifestyle writing, and new media.

16-24 Hours Per Week

This is an unpaid internship that can be used toward college credits for your graduation, or to gain invaluable hands-on work experience in the field of Internet writing, marketing, and social media.

Interns will work from our Irvine, CA office conveniently located off the 5, near The Tustin Marketplace.
