Company/Organization: Hands for Africa

Description:

Hands for Africa is a non-profit organization working to restore lost hope to those devastated by the civil war in Sierra Leone. We support amputees by developing and implementing self-reliance programs and providing the necessary aid for the advancement of these programs. Hands for Africa is one of the fastest growing Southern California based non-profit organizations, and our tremendous growth and success is primarily due to our face-to-face fundraising team. We are eager to welcome new and innovative talent to the Hands for Africa family.

Why We Are Restoring Lost Hope
Blood diamond conflicts ravaged the countryside and terrorized the citizens of many African countries for more than a decade. Hands for Africas mission is to restore lost hope to these innocent victims of civil wars in African countries by implementing programs that foster self-reliance. Hands for Africa directly engages with the innocent victims and their communities to provide artificial limbs for amputees, clean water wells, agricultural development support, educational scholarships, vocational training, healthcare, microfinance loans, and humane housing projects through community construction.
