Non Profit Management Virtual Internship

Description:
The Non Profit Management Intern will aid US and country program staff (Liberia, Mali, Mexico, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, and Zimbabwe) through administrative, operational, research, and programmatic support. For compensation, the intern will receive $500 USD per month.Administration and Operations
* Complete general administrative and operational duties including, but not limited to, adding and processing contacts in our contact management system, taking meeting notes, attending virtual events and webinars, maintaining and building filing systems in Google Drive, creating organizational profiles on various nonprofit rankings and rating platforms and listings, and tracking invitations extended to our global and country staff to speak at various eventsResearch and Writing
* Proofread reports, agendas, presentations, blogs, and other documents
* Provide research for policy papers, blogs, and other documents
* Complete global team research requests as needed
* Create a document that cites and summarizes the main points/facts of academic papers on youth and (anti)corruption/accountability/governanceFundraising
* Research potential donors and help curate lists of key prospective donors
* Help cultivate relationships with individual donors by sending engaging notes via social media, email, postcard, and crowdfunding platforms
* Assist with the planning of the fall individual giving fundraiser by working with the global communications team to design a campaign and gather material from country teams to use for social media promotionProgramming
* Assist with the planning of a virtual youth summit by researching potential partners/sponsors/speakers, creating and updating a summit schedule, creating social media posts and content, taking coordination meeting notes, and more
Qualifications:
* Current or recent undergraduate student with a personal computer and reliable internet
* Intense sense of discipline and self-management
* Highly organized, able to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
* Comfortable with ambiguity; can handle the unexpected with flexibility
* Motivated, proactive, self-directed problem solver; must be comfortable managing shifting roles and responsibilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for editing
* Ability to speak, write, and/or edit in French will be a heavily considered asset
* In country experience in the countries where we work will be considered an asset
