Description:

Our marketing team is launching a first-of-its-kind professional incubation internship program. Helix Linear Technologies is currently seeking a marketing intern, with a specific focus on writing and content creation.

REQUIREMENTS

Commit to a 15-week internship and work at least 20 hours per week, paid $10.50/hour.
Work remotely with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, email, and other connectivity tools
Train in person, distanced safely as necessary specific to role or collaborators.
Fulfill role and responsibilities descriptions
Prove ability to meet and exceed expectations, develop personal and team goals, and impact
Attend weekly company-wide meetings, marketing department meetings, and internship group meetings, whether in person or video conference
Check-in as necessary with marketing director
Submit all work in full and on deadline as a trusted, professional Helix Linear teammate
Submit an internship review survey at the end of the program

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

A clear understanding of basic SEO writing principles
2+ years of strong content writing experience
Research skills and ability to absorb complex topics and produce content targeted for target audiences
High attention to detail and a stickler for accurate grammar
Experience in writing blogs and web page content and business-oriented social media posts
Capacity to produce between at least 1 to 2 articles per week
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/tasks
The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
The ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
Preferred: Working toward a bachelors degree in Journalism, English, Publishing or a similar field
