ARTIST MANAGEMENT INTERN
LOCATION: Nashville, Tennessee

Interested in learning the ins and outs of promoting an artist’s career?

42 Artist Management is offering a unique opportunity for an intern by offering first-hand experience assisting artist management with the day-to-day promotion of an artist’s career.

Applicants should be media and computer savvy, proficient in internet blogging and online social networks (Myspace, Facebook), be knowledgeable of current music trends, and work well as a team.

Duties
*Researching venue information
*Booking Performances
*Tour Management
*All aspects of Merchandising including design and manufacture
*Promotion through online vehicles, print, tv, radio media
*Writing up Press Releases and Artist Bios
*Maintain artist profiles on Myspace, Facebook, iLike, etc.
*Build awareness campaigns through street promotions and web blogging.
*Research, develop and maintain databases.

This is a great chance to learn the business from within and build your music resume. Applicants who display a willingness to learn from hands-on experience are preferred. Creative ability an asset, ie Photography, Graphic Design, Fine Arts Training. Can work from home or will provide office space.

Qualifications:

Qualifications
*Familiar with online social networks (Myspace, Facebook) as well as popular music blogs and online magazines.
*Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Photoshop, Internet)
*Good research skills
*Knowledge of creating and maintaining databases
*Good phone etiquette
*Good organizational skills
*Team player
*Knowledge of html code a plus
