We are looking for an ambitious and talented student intern to join our team as a Business Analyst in our Alexandria, VA office for the summer and gain valuable work experience.

Job Description:

As a Business Analyst Intern at Sabre you will benefit from on the job training and mentoring along with exposure to business strategy, research, analysis and development along with other highly visible corporate priorities. This individual will support the Business Development team and will have multiple projects during the summer including, but not limited to:
•Conduct market research and competitive analysis – market dynamics
•Develop market research of upcoming Federal contracts
•Develop potential customer roadmaps for 2-3 competencies; will work with key business group leaders to identify and evaluate these future opportunities
•Assist in planning and developing marketing material across several medium to support our marketing strategy and to raise awareness of our program
•Customer mapping – understanding organizational dynamics •Learning the Acquisition system
•DoD Strategy – Focus areas (i.e, Asia Pacific, alignment of force, budget)
•Evolving military and civil support missions
•Budget issues

•Develop, implement and deliver at least one significant project feature
•Proactively communicate status and roadblocks to management.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
•Must currently be enrolled in a college or university pursuing Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent degree
•Ability to participate in a full-time summer internship. This is a paid intern position (40 hours/week during regular business hours)
•Ability to build and link customer communications (no customer operates independently –Government agency)
•Effective communication skills (both verbal and written); able to articulate information and gather in simple format, including PowerPoint presentations
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
•Experience with Data Mining; proven experience with internet search engines and research projects
•Strong analytical skills; self-starter with an outstanding work ethic
