Interns at Vara Media gain valuable real world experience and knowledge from professionals in a results-oriented culture. We are seeking students to assist with all facets of the marketing function. This internship may be approximately 10 hours per week, or a range to be determined on a case-by-case basis. As an intern, you will assist with daily tasks including social media development, where you will aid in strategy, content creation, and post scheduling. The marketing intern should have a firm grasp of the latest social media trends. Through the mentorship of our team, you will become familiar with the process of managing various stakeholders, launching a product, and gaining users, while learning in a supportive and progressive setting that presents exciting challenges and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree candidate, preferably majoring in marketing, communications, or PR.
• Experience in social media and web marketing.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal writing, communication, and time management skills.
• Laptop computer.
• Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
• Attention to detail.
