We are looking for Part Time/Full Time and availability for the weekends
Hourly rate of $9.50.
However, as a Community Outreach Specialist, you are able to make a bonus on a daily basis that could raise your regular pay rate up to $10.50-$16.00+ per hour.

Successful candidates for the Community Outreach Specialist position will be highly motivated, excellent at communicating and presenting our cause, adept at building and maintaining customer relationships, enjoy learning about the unique needs of each donor who inspires our work each day to service them with excellence, and be driven by the important mission-driven work of Hands for Africa.Job Requirements
• Demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of HFAs mission and objective
• Must be able to work well with a team environment, while still meeting independent quotas
• Possess leadership skills
• Standing for long periods of time(6-8 hour shifts with a 15 minute break and a 30 minute lunch)
• Loading and unloading merchandise (up to 25 lbs)
• Understanding and adherence to high standards of ethics and confidentiality as described by federal and state law as well as Hands for Africas bylaws and proceduresEssential Functions
• Effectively communicate our mission and programs to the public
• Work outdoors to recruit donors while issuing gifts in return
• Recruit members for volunteer, internship and employment positions
• Generate fundraising income as to continue the work of Hands for Africa
• Set up and take down booth at fundraising locations
• Handle company merchandise respectfully and ethically
• Coordinate the transition of materials from one group to another as necessary
Qualifications:
Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience in sales or fundraising preferred but not required
• Completion of high school or continuation of higher education degree preferred
• MUST have reliable transportation to travel to Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, The Inland Empire and throughout Orange County
