We are looking for a smart, talented and creative young designer interested in the contemporary art scene and willing to work closely with artists and curators. The ideal candidate should be familiar with art institutions and their aesthetics, have a positive attitude and be curious by nature.

A Wattis Institute internship represents a unique opportunity to experience a contemporary arts institution firsthand. The Wattis design intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Wattis team in developing a new identity for the institution and assist with the diverse design projects required for the presentation and promotion of art exhibitions and public programs.

Qualifications:

Skills/ Qualifications: BA/ MA in Design, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (inDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), web design and social media interfaces, ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.

Hours:

16 - 24 hours/ week

Length/Availability:
