The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is looking for qualified students (advanced undergraduate or graduate) interested in being part-time staff assistant interns for its various programs for the summer of 2017.

The schedule is flexible, with hours ranging from 15-25 hours per week. This is a unique opportunity to work first-hand with leading experts in research, administrative tasks, and event planning. It is a valuable experience for those interested in public policy, international relations, and administration.

Programs that accept staff assistant interns include the Africa Program, Brazil Institute, Canada Institute, China Environment Forum, Cold War International History Project, Communications Office, Congressional Relations, Development Office, Design Office, Digital Communications, Digital Futures Project, Directors Office, Environmental Change and Security Program, Global Europe Program, Global Womens Leadership Initiative, Kennan Institute, Kissinger Institute on China and the United States, Latin America Program, Maternal Health Initiative, Mexico Institute, Middle East Program, Nuclear Proliferation International History Project, Urban Sustainability Laboratory, Wilson Quarterly, US-Korean Housing Policy Research, and Grants Management and Foundations.
The deadlines to apply vary for each respective program, but internship positions are open until filled so applying early is strongly recommended.

For ones application to be considered, please ensure that you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- You are an advanced undergraduate, graduated from university within a calendar year of applying, or are pursuing a graduate degree
- You are an American citizen, or hold a J-1 or F-1 visa. The Wilson Center cannot sponsor work visas.
