The Opportunity:
Pilobolus is seeking an intelligent, energetic, good-humored and motivated intern for the marketing department of its New York City office. The internship promises to provide exposure to many areas of the company, providing an understanding of how a nonprofit arts organization functions. Specific responsibilities will include social media marketing strategy and implementation, photo and video media organization and distribution, press materials generation and dissemination, presenter and press communication, and the opportunity to assist in the various activities around our fall performances and events in New York City.

Qualifications:

A successful intern candidate will have:

? Effective oral and written communication skills
? Ability and willingness to tackle assignments including venue website research; investigating potential product markets; idea generation for new marketing ideas and strategies; sharing press materials with presenters and media outlets; and organizing and updating company media platforms
? Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google docs
? Social Media savvy, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo
? Knowledge of Mpeg streamclip, Interdubs, FinalCut Pro, Adobe Photoshop a plus
? Excellent time management skills
? Willingness to jump in and help as needed
? Previous internship in marketing or communications a plus
? Ability to commit 30 hours per week
