Label Engine was founded in 2008 by DJ, producer and label owner Lazy Rich as a way of reducing the number of time-consuming tasks involved in running a successful record label. We are looking for self-motivated, creative, and knowledgeable graphic designer interns to contribute to our various projects. Including, but not limited to, designing marketing campaign flyers/banners, assist with the design images for our blog/website.

Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/week), flexible. Minimum 3 days per week.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 10am – 6pm.

Location: Oppenheimer Tower at 10880 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA

Job Type: Academic Internship (unpaid)

Interns will be supervised by Alexander Munoz, Label Engine General Manager.

Interns will gain valuable real-world knowledge and experience in the music/technology industry while utilizing academic knowledge and adding to a professional portfolio that can be used to showcase skills in the future.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Extensive knowledge using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign)
• Expertise designing and creating incredible graphics
• Thorough knowledge of branding and how to communicate it visually
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well both independently and with a team
• Comfortable with interactive design process (accepting feedback and constructive criticism)
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under high stress situations
• Basic knowledge of Instagram
