Position Summary:

Graphic designers are responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact for all aspects of our clients' print advertising, collateral material, website layouts, packaging, logo development and typography. The Intern of the department will play a crucial role in this process. S/he will work closely with all departments to develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet our clients' objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs and produces art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media, such as books, OOH, magazines, newspapers, television, electronic media, social media, and packaging.
• Designs media in a wide variety of styles that correspond to the clients needs.
• Conceives and executes advertising consistent with the agreed strategy as presented in the creative brief.
• Interacts with art and creative directors.
• Presents new ideas to members of the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Associates degree or in the process of completing one.
• Updated portfolio.
• Ability to press check.
• Understanding of printing and web process, photography, illustration and typography preferred.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and problem solve.
• Be a bright, creative, and innovative thinker.
• We request a minimum of 20 hours/week.
• THIS INTERNSHIP IS UNPAID.
• MS Office, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign are required.
• C4D, After Effects, Final Cut Pro skills are a plus.
