Luxor Trading imports high-quality beauty/fashion items that we sell online. We’re looking for our new semester interns, covering a variety of roles. We are a startup company.

We’re looking for our next interns to work with us on developing a few fashion-related websites. We are bringing on a mixed team of 6-8 people who represent the roles outlined below.

If you can convince us you’re driven and focused, passionate about beauty/fashion or extremely interested, we will teach you everything you need to get any job you want, start freelancing, or launch any idea of your own.We are looking for college students or recent graduates who are motivated and who would like to work in a fun, energetic, yet fast-paced environment.

College credit is available but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
The Marketing Intern will have exposure to our marketing campaigns, social media presence, and event management. S/He will be working on written communications for various marketing vehicles for both print & web. The emphasis will be on increasing visibility, membership, traffic, and engagement. Interns will identify ways to connect to our customers online, monitor customer feedback, and support our website with updates, maintenance, and suggestions. This is a great opportunity to brainstorm and develop marketing programs alongside creative marketing professionals. Outstanding writing skills required – English, Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing majors strongly preferred. Multi-media, video editing, and web design experience is a huge plus!

Qualifications:

You’re the type of person that can’t watch a TV commercial or see a magazine ad without deconstructing it. You understand basic psychological triggers and know how to work them into your ideas. You want to study and dissect niche markets, identifying the unmet needs and true desires of the people within that market. You put serious thought into persuasion and influence principles. You love business, sales, and marketing. You’re eager to test your chops and see if you can create a marketing campaign that works, with real-world products being sold to real consumers.

You’ll work with us to launch our products & brands into their target markets. We’ll teach you how to apply your marketing knowledge to online business. You’ll leave this internship with serious experience actually selling something – not just talking about selling something. If you’re good at what you do, you can be responsible for producing serious sales and measurable impact within the marketplace. You’ll have clear proof of your skills.
