The Public Finance Tax Supported and Water / Sewer groups seek a part time intern for their San Francisco team.
Fitch Ratings is seeking an Intern for the Tax Supported / Water / Sewer group within Public Finance. The responsibilities for this internship in our San Francisco office will include special projects related to researching, analyzing, and writing about public finance tax-supported / water / sewer credits. This internship will allow the opportunity to exercise judgment and creativity while providing a practical and challenging business experience.
Qualifications:
* Coursework, or prior work experience, in Governmental or Not-for-Profit financial statement analysis, Debt Financing for governments and Not-for-Profits is strongly preferred
* 1st year Masters students pursuing a Public Administration degree preferred
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007
* Strong communication skills both verbal and written*Availability of up to 20 hours per week during the school year
