Engineering Summer Intern

The position is located at the company headquarters location in Elkhart, IN and reports to the company’s Engineering Services Supervisor.
The primary responsibility of the position is to provide support for all aspects of assigned product line(s) to ensure functionality, quality, and cost:
• Creating and redrawing solid models and detailed engineering drawings
• Assisting with the development of product design and functionality
• Maintaining and updating files relating to specified design project database library
• Assisting test lab personnel with materials and product testing.
• Entering specified information into computer-aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment to produce graphic representation (hard copy) of design for review and approval by engineering and design staff
• Other tasks and duties as assigned
Candidate should have a High School Diploma and be working on a two or four year degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology, or comparable discipline. Position requirements include experience using Microsoft Office and Solid Modeling/CAD (such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault). Must be self-directed, work well with others, and possess a willingness to learn.
