Tutoring Center

Work with neighborhood kids in weekly activities at our center!

Monday through Thursday from 3:30-6:00 pm and every other Friday for arts and crafts. Occasionally, activities are scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday.

Assist students ages 7-18 with homework assignments, teach a skill (music, arts and crafts, sports, etc.) or be a driver to field trips, special events, Friday Night Light Church.
YouthBuild

Assist students in our alternative high school program as they work to earn their high school diploma or GED!

Weekdays 8:00 am-1:00 pm in our Youth Center.

Work one-on-one with students as they study to earn their diploma, lead a devotional in the morning before class or teach a skill after school (music, sports, cooking, etc.)

**Special Need: Men who value education and are positive role models!
Friday Night Light

Youth service on Friday nights at the Van Nuys Site. The time commitment is 6:45-9:30 pm.

You can bring a meal for about 20-30 people, lead worship fo rthe night, or provide childcare to 2-5 children. Ideally, the childcare would incorporate a Christian overtone. We have a limited number of toys, books, craft materials, but we welcome your own supplies.
Special Events

Do you love to plan events, have a passion for organizing, posess a special skill (such as flower arranging) or just have a heart to serve in a unique way?

Become a part of our Special Events Team! Our development team is often planning, preparing, and putting on an event and we would love your help in the process. Date and time committments vary.
Administration

Do you have any clerical skills or simply have a heart to serve in whatever capacity is needed? If so, serving in administration is a great area to volunteer for you!
