Harrison Hayes is seeking individuals for our Corporate Development Directors position. We want team members who are dedicated to excellence in job performance, who truly enjoy communicating and working with others, and who can work at a very fast pace as part of dynamic and knowledgeable teams. Candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and exceptional at building rapport. Excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills are vital, and candidates should be able to process a wide range of information and communicate it clearly to the client they are dealing with. Candidates must also be able to quickly prioritize jobs under pressure, and be able to anticipate the changing needs of clients.

As a Corporate Development Director, individuals must also be able to identify mine opportunities and sales leads, pitch services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. They will help manage existing accounts and ensure they stay healthy and positive. In addition, they will contact clients, often making presentations on services that meet or predict the clients future needs.

Responsibilities:

· Building relationships with new clients

· Following up new business opportunities and setting up calls

· Planning and preparing presentations (PowerPoint)

· Communicating innovative service ideas to clients

· Providing management with feedback

· Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets

· Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships

· Identify opportunities for new market channels that will lead to an increase in sales

· *Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Skills:

· High attention to detail, action oriented, ability to work within stringent deadlines

· Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills,

· Analysis and project management skills

· Strategic thinking and analytical skills

· Good organizational and time management skills

· Self-discipline to work without a lot of direct supervision.

· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications

· Ability to consistently demonstrate clear and logical thought processes, especially related to market strategy

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years sales experience in a commission-based sales. General understanding of the life science industry, with solid working knowledge of marketing and sales.
