DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Start-up venture is looking for a self-disciplined and self-motivated individual(s) to participate in the operation of the business and the building of our real estate team with a particular focus on the residential and commercial Back Flip strategy. The intern will do the following:
• Serve both as a project manager with leadership responsibilities and as staff support
• Utilize state-of-the-art training software and have access to nationally-recognized experts in systematic sales and marketing techniques in the foreclosure and tax lien real estate industry
• Take initiative and assume significant responsibility at an earlier age than customarily allowed
• Assist in the creation of signage, circulars, mock ups, e-mail campaigns, on line promotion, etc.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of marketing materials
• Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
• Prepare presentations
• Enter contact information into contact management system
• Provide support to social media efforts
• Maintain tracking report of marketing / public relations activity
• Cultivate relationships with buyers, sellers, private investors and real estate professionals
• Attend real estate investor advanced-training seminars

Qualifications:

The applicant should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web and social media. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position. We will consider students from a variety of majors and marketing, sales or advertising would be particularly relevant, but we are looking for evidence of character traits including self-discipline, persistence, and an eagerness to accept responsibility. The applicant needs the ability to:

COMPENSATION: This volunteer program could be for a summer intern or a recent graduate seeking an entry-level position which after an initial trial period may lead to a full-time career path as a real estate investor/ entrepreneur with our firm. As part of the entrepreneurial team the trainee may begin doing transactions and participate in the team financial incentive bonuses commensurate with the revenue generated by his results. During the training period, the apprentice has the option of free room and board.
