Internship description:
The goal of the inventory intern is to understand the inventory process in a web driven and catalog environment. The Control Buying Department is responsible for planning and purchasing each item for each catalog and maintaining satisfactory stock levels

Responsibilities:
• Release and purchase orders
• Assist Inventory team with weekly tasks in Inventory Control Buying
• Conduct Shipping follow up for purchases orders and generate in stock counts
• Build items in mainframe
• Create weekly spreadsheets for Inventory Management, ie perpetual analysis reports, clearance analysis reports, etc

Qualifications:

Background required:

• Merchandising and Inventory studies preferred
• Administrative experience preferred
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Paid Internship Info:

$13/hr

Hours:

40/hrs a week

Length/Availability:

6 months
