Social Media, Community Management, and Communications for multi-media edutainment NYC start-up

We are a wildlife and nature focused multi-media edutainment company with a mission to create the next generation of environmental stewards through exciting, engaging young people and families with exciting, engaging products and services spanning digital apps to location-based programs, both in the US and abroad.

We are looking for a digitally savvy paid intern (with a possibility of joining full time) to start with 20-25 hours/week.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has familiarity with:
• Building presence on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Creating online communities with high levels of engagement
• Consumer-facing brands, ideally in the kids/tweens/family sectors
• Subscription-based business models and Media/Publishing trends
• …big plus for self-starters and initiative takers with a sense of humor, thick skin, a big heart.
