Research/Transcribing Intern

Description:
We are looking for a highly dedicated individual with an interest in the arts who can transcribe a series of conversations between our founder and an American artist. These one-on-one conversations are confidential and we are looking for a discreet emerging arts professional who can assist with drafting typed transcripts of these recorded conversations.The schedule is flexible depending on your availability but we are requesting a minimum of 10 hours weekly to start. We welcome you to work at our private office or from home (or a combination of both). The position is unpaid but we offer a daily stipend (to cover lunch and travel) when working on-site.
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree and knowledge of modern and contemporary art
• Experience in an arts organization, museum or gallery setting preferred
• Ability to listen closely to one-on-one conversations and transcribe them exactly as heard
• Native English speaker
• Exceptional writing and research skills
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
