A start-up PR firm has an exciting opportunity for an internship. You
will be working directly with the owner of the firm and will be
exposed to all aspects of PR.Some day to day responsibilities will include:
- Seeking out potential clients
- Assisting owner with media alerts and press releases
- Media outreach
- Working on Social Media Sites such as Facebook and Twitter to gain exposure
- Attend new business and client meetingsWe are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, organized, responsible
worker with a can do attitude. Previous experience is not required
but a plus.
This is a part-time unpaid internship. The office is located in
Parsippany, NJ. We also offer flexible hours.
It is a great opportunity for a college student to get your foot in
the door and gain valuable experience in a PR environment.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, organized, responsible
worker with a can do attitude. Previous experience is not required
but a plus.Job Requirements
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point
Basic knowledge of Photo Shop
Excellent writing & verbal communication skills
Press release writing experience preferred, but not required
Major in PR/Communications/Marketing preferred
