Summary:
Highly motivated person to support assembly and testing of our LaserSharp® equipment. The Equipment Technician assists in all activities relating to the manufacture of LaserSharp equipment. He or she will work under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
 Test, assemble and repair cable subassemblies for LaserSharp equipment.
* Assist in light mechanical subassemblies for LaserSharp® equipment
* Assist in light mechanical modifications for LaserSharp equipment.
* Inventory stock bins and stock items necessary to build LaserSharp equipment.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Remove discarded recyclable materials from building.
* Remove discarded materials from building.
* Sweep and clean shop.
* Maintain high level shop appearance.
* Run errands and deliveries.
* Other duties as requested by LasX Management.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:
* Capable problem solving skills in cable assembly and testing.
* Capable problem solving skills in light mechanical assembly.
* Knowledge and use of minor power tools such as power drills, grinders, and sanders.
* Knowledge and use of measuring tools such as tape measure and calipers and Volt meters.
* Positive Attitude and willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.
* Ability to represent LasX in a professional manner to customers and suppliers.
* Interested in the technical or engineering fields.

Physical Requirements:
* Working in a manufacturing environment.
* Extensive time standing and walking on a concrete floor.
* Extensive time working at a stationary bench.
* Capable of lifting or moving approximately 70 lbs.

$10/hour

10-12 per week
