It’s morning and youre walking in to our beautiful TravelBird office. What to do today? First things first; get some tea or coffee and meet your happy colleagues. Today youre starting your challenge with us! Together with the accountmanagers (who you will support during this internship) you will make sure the best deals will be created for our customers. In the following months you’re called ‘Junior Accountmanager’. In the mornings you’ll do a quick competition check, followed by checking the sales of the day before. During the day you’re responsible for generating and qualifying new leads within various industries. You’ll contact those leads via telephonic acquisition (100% new business). It’s your task to create the best deals in response to the acquisition. You’re in charge of determining the content of the deal, the price and the layout. Besides that you’ll help your amazing colleagues with administrational work. For this internship you have to be pro-active, spontaneous and curious. You have a hands-on mentality and you’re not afraid of cold acquisition. You are up-to-date of all the traveling trends and you have affinity with the travel industry. Qualifications:

* Flying like a bird in a dynamic, fast growing company in the Travel industry;
* Studying a subject relevant to the internship (marketing/business/sales);
* Enthusiastic, creative, flexible and very pro-active;
* Loves travelling and exploring different cultures;
* Passionate about sales;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Handles stress and pressure very well;
* Team Player, but also capable of working independently;
* Excellent command of your native language and English, both spoken and written;
* Available for a minimum period of 5 months full-time (no research);
* Living in Amsterdam or willing to move.
