The Korean Community Development Services Center is currently seeking an individual who has a passion for community development and possesses the necessary skills for effective community outreach through the use of social media.
As a small non-profit with many programs, there will be many opportunities for the intern to not only grow as a professional, but also exercise leadership skills and make a real impact in the community. The intern will be responsible for creating and updating the Korean Centers social media outlets (i.e. facebook, twitter, youtube), assisting in marketing efforts for our various programs, and providing assistance in other areas if needed. An ideal candidate will not only be passionate and talented, but will also be a motivated self starter, who is an organized and creative team player.Summer interns are expected to work a minimum of 10 weeks where semester interns are expected to work between 12-14 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Interns are required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any form of compensation at this time.

KCDSC’s primary service area is the Olney neighborhood of the city of Philadelphia and the nearby neighborhoods of Logan, East and West Oak Lane, and Lower Northeast. The Center is located in zip code 19120, in census tract 275.
